Lifelong Learning Institute - At the Movies

An enthusiastic cinephile and retired foreign language instructor, Irene Gross notes that as an art form, movies are on the rise; my favorite activity is sitting in a cinema, waiting for the lights to go down. The class will discuss what qualities make a worthwhile movie, what movie reviews to trust, and where to see the best movies. Class will include watching short clips from representative movies. Irene will share her list of favorites, and will invite participants to share theirs. If there is sufficient class interest, a movie trip is a possibility, to be arranged.

Classes will be held September 18, 20, 25, 27, 2-3:30 p.m. in the Anna M. Schrock Auditorium, lower level of the Goshen Public Library.
