SLATE (Support Learning And Technology in Education) began 5 years ago as a Midwest user's group for institutions that use Blackboard's course management software. It is the largest Blackboard user's group and has evolved to include K-12, higher education and corporate users of any course management software (Blackboard, WebCT, Angel, Moodle, etc.) Goshen College has been a member of SLATE for about three years and hosts their annual fall planning summit.
