Award-winning and critically acclaimed Sweet Honey in the Rock creates a unique sound that has it roots in the tradition of African- American choral style. The concert of soul-stirring songs, includes spirituals, hymns, love songs and songs about current events and issues of daily life. Started in 1973 by Bernice Johnson Reagon, the group is celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2003.
