Art Exhibition: Martha Yoder and Justin Johnson

Martha Yoder is an artist and retired pastor from Iowa. Her mixed media pieces on display are a response to a study of the book of Revelation. This includes a series of seven altered Bibles and seven maps, each representing the character of each of the seven churches of the New Testament.

Justin Johnson is the Gallery Director for the University of St. Francis School of Creative Arts - Fort Wayne, a graphic designer, fine artist and lecturer. He will be presenting mixed media pieces from two series. Conflict is a body of work that describes the violence and unrest that is found throughout the world. Saints and Scarabs is contemporary iconography based on spiritual, historical, and classical archetypes.

The Hershberger Gallery (located in the Sauder Music Center) is open from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. weekdays, and 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Saturday and Sunday during the academic school year. The Gallery is closed during school vacations.
