The Goshen College Music Department will present and host a free public symposium centered on peacemaking through stories and song. The symposium will feature discussions with local immigration lawyer Lisa Koop, Latina voices from the local community, Mennonite Central Committee workers in Colombia, and Veterans for Peace members in Chicago. Hymns will be led by GC Professor Emerita Mary K. Oyer. The symposium is open to the public and held in conjunction with the Saturday, November 5 evening performance by the Goshen College Combined Choirs and Orchestra, presenting "Requiem for Peace" by Larry Nickel.
