Navigating a career in medicine: A conversation with Dr. Douglas Schwartzentruber

2016 Culture for Service awardee, Douglas Schwartzentruber, will present his vocational journey. All are welcome.

Douglas J. Schwartzentruber is associate director of clinical affairs at the Indiana University Melvin and Bren Simon Cancer Center. A surgical oncologist and professor of surgery at the Indiana University School of Medicine, he is also system medical director Indiana University Health's statewide cancer services.

He has won national awards, including Alpha Omega Alpha membership, the E.B. Rinker Academic Fellowship and the MAP Reader's Digest International Fellowship. Schwartzentruber was also named to TIME magazine's 2010 list of the "100 Most Influential People in the World."
