Stewardship Matters: The story of the Elkhart County Community Foundation - In 1989 a handful of community leaders and philanthropists envisioned and established the Community Foundation for the purpose of improving the quality of life for the citizens of Elkhart County. Dr. Peter McCown, President, will share the news and story behind the gift to the Community Foundation with the potential to historically transform our county.
