Sauder Concert Hall

The Harbor Trio (Jesse Blumberg, Deborah Selig and Cameron Stowe)

The Harbor Trio, a vocal-piano ensemble based in New York and Boston, will present a visiting artist recital in Sauder Concert Hall on Monday evening, November 12, 2012. The concert begins at 8:00 p.m.

Since 2010, The Harbor Trio ? baritone Jesse Blumberg, soprano Deborah Selig, and pianist Cameron Stowe ? has been collaborating on recitals that explore the rich and diverse song repertoire for soprano, baritone, and piano. Based in New York and Boston, the trio has performed extensively in their "harbor city" hometowns and in venues across the United States.  Their Goshen College program will feature art songs and duets from a wide variety of composers, including Brahms, Clara Schumann, Duparc, Sibelius, Ives, Barber, and Bernstein, as well as modern composers Daron Hagen, Lori Latiman, William Bolcom, and Christina Courtin.

The Harbor Trio will also present a free public masterclass in Rieth Recital Hall on Monday afternoon at noon where they will coach Goshen College voice and piano students.

Tickets are $7 adults, $5 seniors/students, available at the door one hour before the concert. Goshen College faculty, staff, and students are free with valid ID.
