As part of the City of Goshen's Week of Compassion, we invite you to attend a series of films that share stories of people in need of compassionate response. Precious is a movie release in 2009 that is based on a true story about a 16 year old girl who endures both physical and emotional abuse from her parents and her journey toward healing. A group discussion will be led following the movie by Candy Yoder, who is President of CAPS (Child and Parent Services) in Elkhart. This is a free event and snacks will be served.
