Organ Dedication Week

The Goshen College Music Center will dedicate its new Taylor and Boody Opus 41 pipe organ in Rieth Recital Hall with a dedication and series of concerts May 1 through May 8. The schedule of events is below. All events in Rieth Recital Hall.

 Sunday, May 1, 3:00 p.m. -- Dedication of the Opus 41 organ in Rieth Recital Hall. Admission is free; due to limited seating, tickets required for this event.

 Sunday, May 1, 7:30 p.m. -- Dedication concert in Rieth Recital Hall by Dr. Craig Cramer, Professor of Organ, University of Notre Dame.
Tickets are $10 adults, $5 seniors/students.

 Tuesday, May 3, 7:30 p.m. -- Duo-Organist Recital: Christine Thvgersen (GC Assistant Professor of Music) and Roseann Penner Kaufman (Bethel (KS) College instructor of organ).
Tickets are $5 adults, $3 seniors/students. GC students admitted free with ID.

Thursday, May 5, 7:30 p.m. -- Rieth Recital Hall -- "This Organ's Distinctive Tuning" lecture/demonstration by Bradley Lehman. Tickets are $5 adults, $3 seniors/students. GC students admitted free with ID.

Friday, May 6, 7:30 p.m. -- Alumni Organ Recital: Mark Herris, organist. Tickets are $5 adults, $3 seniors/students. GC students admitted free with ID.

 Sunday, May 8, 3:00 pm -- St. Joseph Valley Camerata & Christine Thogersen, organ. Tickets are $10 adults, $5 seniors/students. GC students admitted free with ID.

 Sunday, May 8, 7:30 pm -- St. Joseph Valley Camerata & Christine Thogersen, organ. Tickets are $10 adults, $5 seniors/students. GC students admitted free with ID.
