Exhibit Opening: "God

The public is invited to a public reception for an exhibit of works by Chad Friesen (1967-2013).

Friesen, a self-taught, physically disabled artist, used art to record his innermost thoughts and feelings. With great effort, he created over 1000 paintings with bold lines and bold colors. Friends from Southside Fellowship in Elkhart created a company, God's Eye Art, to market his work. Most of the works displayed come from the collections of Friesen's parents Carol Nickel and Leroy Friesen and friends Dean and Gwen Preheim Bartel.

At 2:20 p.m., there will be comments by Carol Nickel and Dean Preheim-Bartel.

The exhibit is free and open to the public when Good Library is open. (See online for hours.)

The Mennonite-Amish Exhibit Committee of Goshen College is sponsor of the exhibit.
