Convocation: "Talking Politics at GC"

How does an election year affect the Goshen College community?
Five faculty members will discuss these questions and more:
How does the media influence our views?
What role is racism playing in this election?
Are politics in the US really as divisive as it seems?
How will the next president affect energy and environmental policy?
How should folks at a liberal arts college talk about politics?
What are appropriate ways for Christians to relate to politics?
What will happen at GC the morning after the election, on Nov. 5?
Speakers will be Rachel Lapp, Lisa Guedea Carreño, Joe Liechty, Dave Ostergren, Ross Peterson-Veatch, and moderator Duane Stoltzfus.
