Lifelong Learning Institute - "The Arts: Visual and Musical"

Goshen College and Greencroft Retirement Communities have jointly formed a Lifelong Learning Institute to provide learning experiences for senior adults in Elkhart County.

The first offering in Spring 2005 will be led by Mary Oyer, D. Mus.A., Professor Emeritus of Goshen College; who has also taught at Associated Mennonite Biblical Seminaries (Elkhart), Tainan theological Seminary (Taiwan), Kenyatta University (Kenya).

She will lead a study of relationships between arts - painting, architecture and music in particular - and their unique contribution to the enrichment of life. Participants are encouraged to get tickets to the Wroclaw Philharmonic program on April 26 at Goshen College. It is also suggested that participants arrange a visit to the Chicago Art Institute soon after the close of the course.

The eight session course will meet April 25, 26, 28, 29, May 2, 3, 5 & 6 from 2:00-3:00 pm in Room 110 at the Music Center. Fee: $80.
