Lifelong Learning Institute - "Staying at Home: Myth or Possibility?"

Goshen College and Greencroft Retirement Communities have created a new institute to offer mini-courses for senior adults in Elkhart County.
The fifth session of the series will be led by Evelyn Driver, Ph.D., R.N., Professor of Nursing, Goshen College with a specialty in Gerontological Nursing.
A four-session overview of issues related to maintaining autonomy even when needing help with care in later life. Sessions will include discussion of a range of options and resources for staying at home as long as possible if/when health declines. One session to cover "when all else fails" with information about selecting a nursing home and remaining a unique individual even within such settings.
The four session course runs October 27, November 3, 10 and 17; fee is $40.
