NatureFest
The annual NatureFest is coming up Friday May 5, 7
p.m. through Saturday, May 6 at The Farmstead at Merry Lea Environmental Learning Center, located = mile south of Wolf Lake, IN off Rt. 109. Bring a tent and camp overnight or come just for the hike or workshop that interests you. Most activities are family-friendly. Breakfast and lunch served on Saturday.
Featured highlights include tours of Rieth Village, reptiles and amphibians, Native American culture. Also come for
* geocaching
* canoeing
* backpacking instruction
* wild edibles
* cross-property biodiversity hike
* exploring nature for children
* landscaping with native plants
* ground water exploration.
Fees are $5 per meal or event for adults, or $20 for the
weekend; $3 per meal or event for GC students or children;
$15 for the weekend. Family rate: $30 for all day Saturday;
$40 for the weekend. Advance registration required for
