Goshen College Orchestra Fall Concert

The Goshen College Orchestra, conducted by newly-appointed associate professor of music Gregg Thaller, will present their fall concert in Sauder Concert Hall on Friday, October 24 at 7:30 p.m.

The program, titled "Viva Vivaldi," will feature performances of several works by Italian Baroque composer Antonio Vivaldi, including Winter from The Four Seasons, and excerpts from the Concerto Grosso in A minor, Cello Concerto in A minor, and Autumn. Student and faculty soloists will be featured. The Orchestra will also perform Beethoven's Symphony No. 8 and Glinka's Overture to Russlan und Ludmilla.

The GC Wind Ensemble will also perform pre-concert music in the Music Center lobby.

Tickets, available at the door before the concert, are $7 adults, $5 seniors and students. GC students are free with ID.
