Goshen College Choirs with Toledo Symphony

The Goshen College Choirs will be augmented by outstanding area high school singers in a performance of large choral and orchestra works by Bach and Schubert with the Toledo Symphony. The concert will be conducted by Vance George, GC alumnus and Director Emeritus of the San Francisco Symphony Chorus. This concert continues a fruitful collaboration between Goshen College and the Toledo Symphony that dates back to 1996.

The concert program will include the following works:

  • "Nocturne and Wedding March," from A Midsummer Night's Dream  Felix Mendelssohn
  • Geistliches Lied, Op. 30  Johannes Brahms
  • Magnificat  J.S. Bach
  • "Cast Thy Burden Upon the Lord," from Elijah  Felix Mendelssohn
  • Mass in G Major  Franz Schubert
  • "Somewhere," from West Side Story  Leonard Bernstein
  • "Make Your Garden Grow," from Candide  Leonard Bernstein

Tickets are $15 adults, $10 seniors and students. Reserved seating tickets available for advance sale through the Goshen College Welcome Center starting September 15 -- (574) 535-7566.
