Chapel: "Stories from the Church in the Global South"

Leaders of Mennonite World Conference [MWC], to be held July 2009 in Asuncion, Paraguay. Speakers to include: Margaret Peacock who says, "I am an Indian aged 60 born in a village in South India. I joined MCC [Mennonite World Conference] as a receptionist and worked for 38 years. I belong to a small Mennonite Church...started as a house church 26 years ago in my own house" and Tigist Tesfaye who says, "I'm from Ethiopia, home for 88 milliion people with more than 80 different ethnicities. I'm a member of the Mennonite Church in Ethiopia [and] served as a youth leader, choir leader and discipleship teacher in my home congregation. I am currently serving as an MWC one-year intern for the Mennonite Central Committee at the MCC Liaison Office at the United Nations in New York City."
