Exhibit: "Full Circle: Old and New Quilts and Quilters"

Mennonite and Amish quilts from the collection of Rebecca Haarer set a historical context for the original designs of master quilters Edith Shanholt, lifelong resident of Elkhart and LaGrange Counties, and Claire Baker, native of California. The exhibit demonstrates continuity in the local tradition as well as influences to and from quilters who come from around the world to quilt circle gatherings in north central Indiana.

Exhibit reception: Sunday, March 29 from 2-4 p.m. Free and open to the public.

Rebecca Haarer, curator. Sponsored by the Mennonite-Amish Museum Committee.
