This course features studies in music being performed--in this case by the Julliard String Quartet in the Goshen College Performing Arts Series on February 19. The program will consist of Schubert's Quartet No. 14 (Rosamund), Bartok's Quartet No. 2, and Beethoven's final quartet, Opus 135 (performance tickets are sold separately through the Welcome Center). One of the four sessions will introduce organ music of J. S. Bach which Professor Christine Thogerson will play in a recital on March 21 in celebration of the composer's 325th birthday.
