"At Home with Gods Wild Side" is Merry Leas 2009 Autumn Hope Conference. This annual faith-based event emphasizes hope in Gods regenerative power rather than the despair we sometimes feel when we consider the many threats the natural world faces. These are a few of the questions we will explore through hiking, silence, discussion and the arts:  How does our faith shape our relationship with the natural world?  How does the natural world enrich our understanding of God?  What does it mean to call the earth our home?  How can we recover the sense of being at home in the natural world that God intended?
