Each year, Merry Lea holds an Autumn Hope Conference, integrating faith-based dialog, fieldwork and environmental issues critical to our times. Earth as Ally will focus on global climate change and the critical role healthy landscapes play in mitigating rising CO2 levels. Trail time includes fieldwork in prairies and forests and a look at phenology. Breakout sessions will be tailored to specific settings such as congregations, church camps, farms, urban areas, private property. The weekend concludes with worship. Cost: $100 per person includes meals; limited lodging available at $15 per night.
