"Science on the Edge: Avalanches in Granular Systems," Susan Lehman - Science Speakers Lecture Series

Susan Lehman ('93), Professor of Physics at Wooster College, OH, will present her research observing the dynamic response of piles of granular materials. Her investigations, made in collaboration with Wooster College undergraduate students, seek to understand collapses in both industrial situations and natural settings, such as landslides.
