"Valley Song" is nobel prize-winning playwright Athol Fugard's first play since apartheid ended in his native South Africa. The play takes place on a tenant farm where Fugard shows the contrast between the old life and the new life of possibilities as seen in the struggle of the young dreams of Veronica and the elderly needs of her grandfather. Mixed Company is produced and directed by Leonard Stephenson, who also plays the grandfather.
