Interviews are a crucial gateway to the world of work, and most students both anticipate and fear them. The two best stress-reducers are knowledge and practice, and you can receive both in this workshop. Leading the session with tips and strategies for effective interviewing will be Cyndee Blue, MMA Employment Coordinator, and David Janzen, Director of Human Resources at GC.

Topics will include how to prepare for an interview, appropriate dress, establishing rapport, the importance of body language, and how to deal with questions about salary and other difficult issues. Mock interviews will be demonstrated, and participants will have ample time to ask questions. Take advantage of the collective wisdom of these two recruiters to learn how to ace an interview.
