GC continuing education student and mezzo-soprano Tami Jantzi will present a voice recital in Rieth Recital Hall. Admission is free and the public is warmly invited.

The program, titled "Angels and Sinners," will feature works selected to highlight the conflicting facets of female passions, including works by Schumann and William Bolcom.

Jantzi is a professional vocalist based in Germany. She has worked with maestros such as Daniel Barenboim, Christoph Eschenbach, and Peter Schreier. She is a versitile singer who has a wide repertoire ranging from Bach to Bruckner and from masses to musicals. She performs regularly in the United States as well as on European stages. A former GC student, she has returned to campus in 2008-2009 to finish her music degree.
