Peace Forum -

For many, the complexity of the military situation and human tragedy unfolding in Afghanistan is difficult to comprehend from thousands of miles away, even as Americans process the September 11 tragedy and face security threats at home. Goshen College's Peace, Justice & Conflict Studies program brings focus to the broad issues at hand in welcoming to campus Doug Hostetter, who recently returned from Afghanistan, where he worked with Help the Afghan Children (HTAC), Mennonite Central Committee and the American Friends Service Committee. Hostetter will speak on "The Interfaith Journey to Peace: Personal Reflections" at 7 p.m. on Dec. 4 in Room 28 of the college's Administration Building. The event is free and open to the public.
