Internationally acclaimed pianist, David Gross, will solo with the GC Orchestra at its mid-winter concert in Umble Center. They will perform Symphonie Concertante by Karol Szymanowski, an exciting and challenging work for piano and orchestra by one of the foremost Polish composers of the early part of the 20th century. Prof. David Mosley will also conduct the orchestra in von Weber's "Overture" to Der Freischutz, as well as the GC Wind Ensemble in "Lincolnshire Posy" by Grainger. Admission cost is $3.00 general, $1.00 student and can be paid at the door.
