Exceptional songwriting and vocal and instrumental prowess characterize the Lonesome River Band. the group has earned a reputation as one of the most entertaining and energetic acts on the bluegrass scene as they blend traditional and contemporary styles. Formed in 1983, members of the Lonesome River Band have been honored both collectively and individually; among their awards is a Bluegrass Music Association "Album of the Year."
