Through the stories of those who knew and loved her, relatives of Juanita Lark will discuss the life and legacy of the first African-American to graduate from Goshen College, in 1943. She went on to teach for 38 years in the Chicago Public School System. After the convocation, the GC Welcome Center will be renamed the Juanita Lark Welcome Center during a brief dedication ceremony.
