The General Education theme for this year is "Engaging Popular Culture." The LEFT BEHIND books by Tim LaHaye and Jerry B. Jenkins are a popular culture phenomenon. Loren Johns, a New Testament scholar specializing in the book of Revelation, has read the LEFT BEHIND books. He will comment on them from a biblical perspective.
