Credo Chamber Music Concert

The Credo Fellowship Quartet and the Credo student all-star group will perform a chamber music concert on July 17 at 7 p.m. in Goshen College Music Centers Rieth Recital Hall as part of a music tour. The concert is free and open to the public. All of the Credo Fellowship Quartet members are recent graduates from masters in music programs at leading music schools, including the Cleveland Institute of Music, Haart Conservatory of Music and Indiana University. They will perform Quartet in E Minor, by Felix Mendelssohn. The student group will perform Piano Quartet in C Minor, by Johannes Brahms. All four performers are standout high school or college music students. Credo Chamber Music is a six-year-old nonprofit music organization whose mission is to help high school and college students develop their gifts of music, acknowledge the source of these gifts and cultivate an attitude of service with the gift. Approximately 90 students will spend up to five weeks this summer at Oberlin College Conservatory of Music. Faculty come from the Oberlin Conservatory, Wheaton Conservatory, Juilliard School, as well as the Cleveland Orchestra and Pittsburgh Symphony.
