Credo Chamber Music Concert
The Credo Fellowship Quartet and the Credo student all-star group will
perform a chamber music concert on July 17 at 7 p.m. in Goshen College
Music Centers Rieth Recital Hall as part of a music tour. The concert is
free and open to the public.
All of the Credo Fellowship Quartet members are recent graduates from
masters in music programs at leading music schools, including the
Cleveland Institute of Music, Haart Conservatory of Music and Indiana
University. They will perform Quartet in E Minor, by Felix Mendelssohn.
The student group will perform Piano Quartet in C Minor, by Johannes
Brahms. All four performers are standout high school or college music
students.
Credo Chamber Music is a six-year-old nonprofit music organization
whose mission is to help high school and college students develop their
gifts of music, acknowledge the source of these gifts and cultivate an
attitude of service with the gift. Approximately 90 students will spend
up to five weeks this summer at Oberlin College Conservatory of Music.
Faculty come from the Oberlin Conservatory, Wheaton Conservatory,
Juilliard School, as well as the Cleveland Orchestra and Pittsburgh
Symphony.
