Led by professor of Spanish Dean Rhodes. Dean has lived in Peru and led similar tours. The trip includes several days in Lima, Cuzco, an Amazon wilderness experience, three days in the remote region of Puerto Maldonado at an eco-tourism lodge with treks through primary rain forest, a boat trip and an overnight trip to Machu Picchu. Participants should be in good condition for walking.
