Art Topics & Issues - Conrad Snider

Ceramist Conrad Snider, of Newton, Kansas, who studied at Bethel College, KS and with Ken Ferguson at the Kansas City Art Institute will give an illustrated lecture about his ceramics business to art students. Conrad worked as an apprentice for 5 years with Jun Kaneko in Omaha, NE. He recently purchased Paul Soldner's clay mixing business. Snider is known for his 5'-6' pots and other large clay relief installations, and has built an unusual kiln in which to fire these large forms. The public is invited.
