Afternoon Sabbatical Chicago Bus Trip

42nd Street and Art Museum option

Annually we schedule a bus trip to Chicago during the holiday season to see a show, shop and enjoy the festive feel of the city. This year we have tickets to the second longest running American musical in Broadway history on tour in Chicago. "42nd Street", winner of the 2001 Tony Award for the Best Musical Revival, tells the inspiring tale of Peggy Sawyer's rise from chorus girl to Broadway star. The show is based on Steven Suskin's book and the 1933 movie. Cost: $95.

Art Museum option: The Medici, Michaelangelo and the Art of Late Renaissance

This exhibition is rich with paintings, sculptures, graphics, porcelain, tapestries and cosutmes, including sculptures and drawings by Michaelangelo and important works by Bronzino, Pontormo and Salviati and sculpturs Cellini and Giambologna. Add on cost for entrance and audio tour: $15.
