Cancer: What You Need to Know, What You Need to Do

A presentation titled Cancer: What You Need to Know, What You Need to Do will launch the 2003-04 Yoder Public Affairs Lectureship at Goshen College on Tuesday, Nov. 4, at 8 p.m. in the church-chapel.

Dr. Richard B. Hostetter, medical director of the Center for Cancer Care at Goshen Health System since 1999, will present an illustrated lecture that will highlight the current state of research, diagnosis, and treatment of cancer. He will specifically address the question of the incidence of cancer in Northern Indiana in relation to national statistics.

Dr. Hostetter is a board-certified general surgeon with a specialty in surgical oncology. In addition to his practice, he holds an appointment as a clinical assistant professor of surgery with the Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis.
