As spices and vegetables combine synergetically to create a savory salsa, just so has the Hispanic culture been enriched and energized by its history, people and belief systems. Through this afternoon program, Rafael, Professor of Spanish, and Christine Falcon, collaborator in cross-cultural publications, will serve up a tasty anecdotal smorgasbord through short stories, personal vignettes, and cultural explanations, inspired by Rafael's boyhood in Puerto Rico and the couple's subsequent cross-cultural experiences.
