Credo Rising Stars Concert

On Saturday, October 23rd at 7:30 PM, three of Americas leading young chamber musicians will perform a special free concert at Rieth Recital Hall in the Goshen College Music Center. They are Credos Rising Stars.

The three musicians performing on the 23rd are Hanah Stuart, violin: Karen Piranian, piano and Andrea Bontrager, soprano. All three have participated in Credos summer programs. All three have won numerous awards for excellence in music.

Credo is a non-profit organization dedicated to combining professional- level musical training with spiritual mentoring, and the opportunity to reach out to others. Geared towards advanced high school and college string players and vocalists, Credos primary summer program takes place at Oberlin Conservatory. Credo string and choral programs have also taken place at Goshen College the last 4 summers. Founder Peter Slowiks vision is embraced by many of the nations finest string teachers, and is expanding to reach students from all across the nation. Students come from Hawaii to New York, Alaska to Florida, and all points in between. Several students from the Goshen community are also active in Credos summer program.
