The 13th annual grief seminar, hosted by the Social Work Education Program and Ryan's Place, will be held in the College Church Fellowship Hall on Friday, Sept. 23rd. This year's seminar theme is "Creating Community by Embracing Diversity." This all-day event is open to the public and offers 6 hours of continuing education to social workers, mental health counselors, funeral directors, and marriage and family therapists. Registration fee (includes lunch, snacks, and continuing education certificate) is $65.00 for professionals and $30.00 for students and retirees.
