Cancer Treatment: Biology, Mathematics, and Physics

The Goshen College Science Speaker Series presents:

    Doctor Seza Gulec

Dr. Gulec is board certified in both surgery and nuclear medicine. His clinical areas of interest are surgery of endocrine/neuroendocrine tumors, breast and melanoma. He also has expertise in surgical and non-surgical treatment of primary and metastatic liver cancer.

Dr. Gulec is one of the pioneers in radioguided surgery. He has been very active in surgical and nuclear oncology research. Dr. Gulec has landmark publications in lymphatic mapping and probe-guided surgery, angiogenesis research and novel antiangiogenic therapy techniques.

Dr. Gulec will be speaking about some of his research and how students might become involved.
