Community Hymn Sing, led by Bradley Kauffman, SaeJin Lee, and Adam Tice

Images of original artwork in the Mennonite hymnal Voices Together (2020) will be projected during the singing of their matching hymns in this program.

The hymn sing will be led by three Voices Together committee members, all GC graduates: Artist SaeJin Lee ('11) was a member of the Worship Resources Subcommittee and helped lead the selection and curation of works of art in the hymnal. Adam Tice ('02) served as Text Editor, and Bradley Kauffman ('96) was Project Director and General Editor. The three will lead songs and share about the convergence of visual and musical elements in Voices Together.

The hymn sing accompanies the exhibit in the Good Library Gallery, Voices Together: A Celebration of Art and Music, which will be open for visitation both before and after the hymn sing. The exhibit includes original work from twelve different artists, as well as a display of historic Mennonite hymnals and tributes to Mary Oyer, Walter E. Yoder, and John D. Brunk, editors of earlier Mennonite hymnals.

The public is invited. The event is sponsored by the Music Department and the Mennonite-Amish Museum Committee of Goshen College and the Marpeck Fund.

The exhibit continues through November 6.
