Colored photographs of the landscape and material culture of northern Indiana Amish, taken between Nappanee and Shipshewana, Ind., were taken by Dottie Kauffmann of Goshen. Some of the 40-plus photographs in the exhibit also appear as illustrations in the books "Plain Diversity" (Johns Hopkins, 2007) and "An Amish Patchwork" (Indiana University, 2005).
