right next to the Adelphian Fountain

Shorts Day celebration

Its time for Shorts Day at Goshen College! And in a leap of faith, we will celebrate this event Thursday (April 12) regardless of the weather.

As a follow up to our (in)famous Weather or Not celebration (on Jan 24), we will gather (again) beside the Adelphian Fountain for fun and festivities. We hope to see you there wearing your shorts!

Date/time: 12:30-1:30 p.m., Thursday (April 12)

Event highlights:

Brief remarks by President Bermuda Shorts Brenneman; Ice cream cones scooped up by Presidents Council (wearing shorts); Free drawings (sun screen, GC hats, GC water bottles, GC lawn chairs); An official game of ultimate Frisbee between faculty/staff and students; Singing by Farther Along, a GC octet led by Brooks Gingerich; A special musical performance by Paul Keim, professor of Bible and Religion; An awesome master of ceremonies Doug Caskey, professor of theater and communication.

So put on a pair of shorts and join the fun on Thursday!
