Sarah Corbitt is a studio art major with a focus in painting. Her exhibit is a series of paintings that showcase literal interpretations of idioms. The paintings all share darker themes in their interpretations, including things like blood and gore. Currently a resident of Reading, Massachusetts, and working part time at a statuary there, Sarah is open to many career paths after graduation, like art restoration or illustration.
Anna Myers is an art and education major from Elkhart, Indiana. Her exhibit will feature ceramic hands that explore various emotions through gestures and design elements.
Jackelyn Resendiz Palos was born in Goshen, but maintains a deep connection to Aguascalientes, Mexico, where her parents currently live. With twenty-three years of diverse life experiences, she has built a deep sense of creativity that she now uses to grow as a person and achieve her goals. Jackelyn’s senior exhibit will not only showcase her brand identity, but will also display an eye-catching collection of patterns inspired by the vibrant essence of spring.
Shayne Wassell is a graphic design major with a writing minor. Shayne’s design work for the exhibit primarily involves music and its emotional impact on people. Shayne also draws, paints, and does some printmaking.
