Cymbeline: Interrupted Radio Broadcast

In this romantic and humorous tale of love, betrayal, and mistaken identity, Shakespeare pulls from a stockpile of his famous tropes and devices. Cymbeline follows loyal Imogen as she takes fate into her own hands to reunite with the man who betrayed her. Other characters include a scheming queen, a devoted servant, a hotheaded fool, a jealous husband, a demanding father, a lying lecher, a kidnapper, two ghosts, and the almighty Jupiter to name a few.

Tune in to 91.1 The Globe on November 8 for a radio broadcast.

"The radio broadcast will be the only way to experience the full story in the order of Shakespeare's script. It is a different way to experience theatre than we are used to, and can be a lot of fun as well. Jacob Claassen has headed up the foley effects, and Lukas Thompson has composed gorgeous, intriguing original music that lead us on an auditory journey of Cymbeline." -Michelle Milne
