Jomani Thomas steps into interim head women's basketball coach role as Tyra Carver resigns

GOSHEN, Ind. - Assistant coach and recruiting coordinator Jomani Thomas will serve as the interim head women's basketball coach, effective immediately, after head coach Tyra Carver announced her resignation on Thursday to pursue other opportunities away from the sideline. Carver led the Maple Leafs to 15 wins in her two seasons as head coach and Thomas has been a part of her staff the last two seasons. Both coaches are GC alums who were a part of the 2016 NAIA national semifinalist team. Goshen College has launched a national search to hire the next head women's basketball coach.

Five Maple Leafs make CSC NAIA Academic All-District At-Large teams

GOSHEN, Ind. - The 2025-26 Academic All-District® at-large teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, were announced on Tuesday, and five student-athletes earned the recognition for the Maple Leafs. Andrea Biffi, Mathis Doladille and Ben Koop represented the men's volleyball program and Bailey Friars and Rebekah Muzyk were Goshen's bowling honorees.

Men's cross country and track and field program named as an NAIA USTFCCA Program of the Year winner

NEW ORLEANS, La. - The Goshen men's cross country and track and field program was one of 22 NAIA men's teams recognized by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) in their Program of the Year Award rankings, announced last week. The award honors schools that have achieved the most success in each academic year (spanning the cross country, indoor track & field and outdoor track & field seasons) based on the institution's finish at the NAIA Championships.
